Meet the Poet
Katia Matychak has been writing poetry for over 15 years. Being a neuroscientist, she explores the aesthetics of the human body and how we react to the world, from molecule to measure. She has self-published four chapbooks and has been featured in Overgrowth Press, reference mollusk, Hyphen Literary Magazine and others. Katia currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland, where she’s finding new inspiration around the Chesapeake Bay. Her Ukrainian and Appalachian upbringing still influences how she vivisects every moment.
